The 67th Emmy Nominations are approaching and with it the nominations for actresses and actors who have given us riveting and entertaining performances in the last year.  I love this event, because I know these actors are taking writers’ work and bringing it to life.  What a wonderful thought.  I imagine how excited Shakespeare was when stayed up late nights with ink, paper and wine writing beautiful plays to be performed by deep-thinking actors (even if the women’s parts had to be played by men).  To be or not to be…that is at least one question on every actor’s mind on this list.  Take a look and weigh in if you like.  Really happy to see African-American women and men representing and the African-American experience being represented. ray-donovan-poster Lead Actor in a Drama Series
