Dear Fans,

Well, I’ve been offline all day, hoping to bring this book to you before my midnight deadline to keep my word of a drop date on Sunday.

Two hours before midnight, I don’t think it’s going to happen.

My first knee-jerk response was to give you another date, but I can hear the wisdom of my team begging me not to. What I can tell you is that the book is complete. We are working to make sure the final product is the absolute best that we can provide.

This is all on me. No one is else is responsible. I should have allotted more time Wednesday when I made the announcement, but I was eater to please. Lesson 1 of all of this – don’t over promise and under deliver. What I can assure you of, is that it will be out soon. I’ll send out a communication after we have pressed PUBLISH and after the book has gone LIVE. I’ve been getting emails all day, but I have not been able to respond, because I’ve been working.

Thank you, however, to everyone for being understanding. So many texts came in from fans telling me to take my time, do it right, they’d be waiting, they’d support me. About three hours ago, I got on my knees and prayed. But I also had to thank Him for surrounding me by such love. Thank you again. I’m on it. I have to get back offline and work. I won’t be sending emails or on FB or social media until we go live. But I also didn’t want you to think that I’m just ignoring you. Trust me. I do it all for you. Dear Medlovians,

I know many of you won’t be happy with me, but I must push the drop date for Anatoly’s Retribution: Book Two from Wednesday to Sunday of this week. As many of you know, I lost my grandfather on the 11th of this month, and we buried him on the 21st. I needed time to grieve, and I needed time to help my family. I don’t want my work to suffer for it, so I won’t release it until we are finished editing it sufficiently. Sunday should be enough time to do the trick. I ask for your patience, and I thank you in advance for your understanding. You deserve the best Book 2 has to offer. And I want to give that to you.

Celebrating the Life of My Grandfather, Rev. Ivory Artis, Sr. (May he rest in peace)

I bet Daddy’s mansion is going to be huge! I know he’ll be there watching westerns, fixing a feast of BBQ and his famous baked beans and making the angels laugh with his thousands of stories when I get there. I can see his face, bright and warm with a toothy smile, walking around in perfect health and ready to show me around.

…words cannot really express how I feel about my grandfather, Ivory Artis, Sr. Trust me, over the last few days, I’ve tried to find them, but there are none grand or wonderful enough to describe his smile, his voice, his warm eyes or his huge heart.

Everyone who knows me, knows that I called him Daddy. Since the day that I was born, he has been there for me. I lived in his home and was nurtured under his large protective wings. But he was never selfish with his love. There are so many people who share the same bond of knowing a man who always wanted the best for everyone around him.

For 37 years, Daddy was there to be everything for me. He loved me unconditionally and taught me how to be a good person, scolded me when I was a bad person, and never passed judgement. He wiped my tears, chased away my fears, made me feel like a giant and a princess. I was blessed to have had him in my life, and I am not alone.

On October 21st, we will commit Rev. Ivory Artis, Sr. back to the earth during his homegoing celebration. If you have known him or have known the Artis Family, I humbly extend the invitation to celebrate his life with us.

Yes, I am so very sad to see my father leave this Earth, but I rejoice in knowing that Heaven truly has a special man added to their ranks.

No more pain. No more worry. No more earthly concerns. Let us celebrate a man who exemplified what is was to be a kind, generous, loving servant of God and an amazing man.
