Are you a Medlovian?

In what order should I read the Medlov Books?

First, thank you for your interest in the series that started the Russian Mafia Romance genre. I promise you that you won’t be disappointed. The Medlov Family is a fictional look into one of the most complex clandestine societies that the Russian culture ever gave to the world. Currently, there are three series around the Medlov family: The Medlov Crime Family, The Chronicles of Young Dmitry Medlov and The Medlov Men.

The Medlov Crime Family consists of four books and I would recommend reading these first.

• Dmitry’s Closet (2010)
• Dmitry’s Royal Flush: Rise of the Queen (2010)
• Anatoly Medlov: Complete Reign (2011)
• Saving Anya (2012)

Each of these books introduce the characters who will continue to play a role in shaping the world of the Medlov empire and family.

The next group of books to read would be the Chronicles of Young Dmitry Medlov. They are a look back at Dmitry Medlov’s life from the time of 18 up until the transition of his life when he became the Czar of the underworld. There are so many questions answered in this series. We see the relationship between Ivan and his brother grow and wither, the introduction of beloved bodyguard Davyd, intimate relationships between al the main characters and the birth of many of your favorite bad boys. I am still working on Volumes 8-12, but there is plenty to read in Volumes 1-7.

The Medlov Men Series is a contemporary look at the men of the Medlov family and council. Instead of just focusing on their arms deals, we focus on the interpersonal relationships they have with each other and the women they love. After you have read the other series, you will definitely apprecieate the Medlov Men Series, but you don’t have to read the other books to understand these. I’ve designed them to be stand-alone books with full explanations, so you’ll never be lost.

It’s a sad state of affairs for me ladies and gentlemen.  The book is complete, but the hard copy format will not be ready until July 15th.  Please world, do not be angry with me.  I’m working around the clock to provide some benefits in lieu of this horrid blunder.  Last time, the drop date was off by a month and half.  So, I’m happy to report that it’s just ten days later.  For many, it’s ten days too long.  So, I’m offering this:

Introducing the cover to my newest book – Dmitry’s Royal Flush: Rise of the Queen

Let me be the first to say how proud I am of Kandace Tuggle,  our exclusive designer at RiverHouse Publishing, LLC for her fabulous work on the new cover for the much anticipated Dmitry’s Royal Flush: Rise of the Queen book from the Medlov Crime Family Series.  We had a great conference call with the girls a few days back, where I told them that this would be coming.  Now, here it is as promised.

For me, when I see the cover, I know that the entire book is almost complete.  I always save the cover until the end to make sure that it really encompasses what the story is all about – mostly because I tend to deviate.

Synopsis:

What I call a relaxing weekend (couch and book):-)

Some seasons, you have no new ideas.  You want to type, you long to write but nothing comes to mind.  Other times, you can write without eating or sleeping.  It’s “your own brand of heroine.”

For me lately, I’ve been faced with the better of the two.  New ideas have been flooding in like the River Jordan.  I think it has a lot to do with God’s mercy, because I’m so pathetic when I get writer’s block.  Plus there is no motivation like Chris Cornell’s old album Euphoria Morning.  I pulled out my Cornell collection to clear my mind and just when I dumped everything out, new GOOD stuff started to come in.  Chris has that effect on me, way back since Black Hole Sun when he was with Sound Garden.

I’ve had ideas springing forth like oil from a Texas well.  I wake up happy in the morning for no reason at all, wondering what I will come with next.  To celebrate my new motivation, even Adam has been reading lately.  Bless his soul; he went from being interrogated for my book to having to read about his interrogation.  (Did I mention he hates Romance novels?)

So far, I’ve started three new books.  I bet you I’m all finished by Easter with all of them. 

It’s party time people.  The fingers can’t type fast enough.
