4th Annual Swirl Awards Now Open
Vote: Vasily’s Revenge by Latrivia Nelson for Romantic Suspense
Message from Koko:
Today we’ve opened the awards for nominations. The Swirl Awards was created to recognize and promote excellence in romance within the multicultural/interracial genre. So of course, all books are welcome regardless of race, nationality, gender or sexual orientation of the main characters. However, one of the main characters must be a person of color.
Nominations for Interracial/Multicultural novels published in 2014 ONLY will be solicited from authors for the following categories:
• Best Contemporary (non-erotic)
• Best Erotic Contemporary
• Best Historical
• Best Fantasy/Futuristic
• Best Paranormal
• Best Romantic Suspense
• Best Short Novella (10,000-20,000 words) •
All heat levels from erotic to sweet are welcome. But if for some reason, there are fewer than four nominees in a given category, that category will be eliminated from the competition. Entry into the contest is FREE. All submissions should be submitted by July 18, 2015 to theswirlnet@gmail.com.
